Brigitte Perreault is a recognized leader, social entrepreneur, impact philanthropy advisor, and human rights advocate. She is the recipient of the Human Dignity Award and the founder of Ignyte Transformational Media, an impact publishing company dedicated to urgent global issues and education for people and planet.
Deeply committed to social justice and global engagement, Brigitte began her advocacy work in 2002 by helping refugees and survivors of state-sponsored torture resettle in the Los Angeles area. Since 2008, she has served on numerous boards, led successful fundraising and community engagement initiatives, and pioneered digital media ventures focused on awareness, education, and change.
Brigitte has published two global magazines and headed The Global Lead Channel, an impact-driven platform. Her work has led to partnerships with world-renowned organizations such as the United Nations Foundation, Reuters Events, Oceana, Equality Now, Earth Guardians, Dr. Sylvia Earle & Mission Blue, The Monaco Better World Forum, ConnectHER, TerraMar Project, MOAS, Rock Against Trafficking, Renewable Nations Institute, Global Sustainable Fashion Week, and Journeys for Good, among others.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Brigitte has lived in Los Angeles since 1993. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and International Studies from Collège Édouard-Montpetit and the Université de Montréal. She is fluent in both French and English.
